Friday 01 Mar: Lovely sunny day. Anke provides lovely Scotch Broth, plus Apfelkuchen for the crew as their evening meal – they get 2 hot meals a day as part of their working conditions, as well as accommodation in the village. Food is normally supplied by their landlady or a separate contract.
